Butterfly Apps does not come with pre-installed maps due to the large amount of memory maps require. Maps containing topography can be downloaded inside the app for free (worldwide).
Required:
- please ensure that the location services are activated for the app.
- you need an internet connection
- please ensure that the internet connection is activated in the app menu: Settings - Interfaces - internet connection
Download Maps
- go to the Menu > Settings > Map Data
- Select a country you wish to install
- Tap on a map-tile to install maps in this region
