CODE 00002000 or 00000008
An error message like this indicates that the transponder is not connected to the ACD-57. There are three possible reasons:
- The ACD-57 is not set or is set incorrectly in its configuration: Please go to ACD SETUP > ACD XPDR SETUP and configure all parameters, especially "XPDR TYPE" and "CONNECTOR". Unlock the setup with the code '3000'. (Older software: MENU > COM CONTROL > INSTALLATION, before being able to access the menu, the PIN CODE 3000 must be entered).
- The cable is not plugged in correctly (the plugs should all be connected)
- The transponder is not supplied with power. Each cable, even if the ACD is already supplied from another source (e.g., radio), must be connected to the aircraft's electrical system.
