The frequency database is read from a file on the microSD card (inserted in the microSD card slot on the front). The card remains permanently inserted in the ACD.
For security reasons, a file on the ACD is only valid for one year, i.e., it should be updated yearly.
Downloading and updating the database:
To download a database for your ACD, a coupon code is required that allows you to download new databases within a period. You will receive such a coupon code for 2 years when you purchase the ACD (included in the scope of delivery). You can buy further coupon codes from us in the AIR Store for subsequent periods. You will receive the code by e-mail after purchase.
The download is triggered by entering your coupon code on this website. You can enter the code as often as you like during the period, and thus always download the latest databases.
