While it is normal for this message to appear for a few seconds shortly after startup (while the ATD is waiting for data from the connected collision warning system), this message should disappear after a shorter time (maximum 2 minutes) and the ATD should go into normal operation.
If this is not the case, the ATD is usually incorrectly configured and is searching for data at an interface, for example, where no data is arriving. It can also happen after software updates that the configuration of the ATD has been reset.
Solution:
- Open the menu in the ATD with a long press on the rotary knob.
- Navigate to DEVICE > INSTALLATION > DATA PORTS
- Set there at PORT 1 (upper connector of the ATD) or PORT 2 (lower connector) what kind of device (e.g. AT-1, PowerFLARM etc.) you have connected.
